Hoosier Dachshund Club

 

 

Hoosier Dachshund Club is an AKC licensed breed club based in Indianapolis, IN.  Membership is not restricted to the Indianapolis area but the club’s primary purpose is to be representative of the breeders and exhibitors in the area.

 

The mission of the Hoosier Dachshund Club is:

· to encourage and promote the breeding of pure-bred Dachshunds,

· to urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as            approved by the American Kennel Club and the Dachshund Club of America as the only standard of excellence by which dachshunds are judged,

·  to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competitions at dog shows, field trials, and obedience trials, and

· to conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows and field trials under the rules of the American Kennel Club.

 

Hoosier Dachshund Club is not conducted or operated for profit.
